The Little Fairy
Painter, Photoshop
December 2007

This was created for a friend with here two children depicted here.

This took me about 2 weeks. One of my first "epic" paintings. Or to me it is. So I spent a lot of time researching lighting effects, stone walls, and even tapestries. I painted this in Painter 7 while using photos of the kids for reference. For the stone wall, I used an impressionist brush with random color jitter. I then moved it to Photoshop 6 to adjust the colors, contrast and levels. I added the lighting effects to the fairy in Photoshop 6 also.
